    Today’s walk was a fun and easy 2-2.5 mile out and back (or loop) walk up to the Pepperpot monument in Eaves Wood, Silverdale.  The views from the top reach as far as Ingleborough, Morecambe, Warton Crag, Arnside Knott, Morecambe, Heysham, the Blackpool Tower, Barrow and beyond.

    School Knott is a great little walk, offering beautiful views over Windermere Town and the lake.  You can start this walk from Windermere or Bowness, but to keep it easy for little legs, we parked near Windermere Golf Club and did the 2.5 mile lollipop loop from there.
