Elterwater to Skelwith Bride, or vice versa, or even there and back, is a beautiful and easy walk, that is suitable for pushchairs too. It’s approx 1.5 miles each way, with plenty of adventure along the way.

Dunmallard Hill, Pooley Bridge
If you wish to simply circumnavigate Dunmallard Hill, then go through the gate next to the large sign post and turn either left of right. This will take you all the way round and back to the car park. You can also follow the path that takes you to the top from here.

Seat How Summit from Whinlatter Forest is a great family walk. 3.5 mile circular walk following easy to navigate trails. Amazing views over Derwentwater and Keswick and an adventure playground and cafe to finish!
