Lion and Lamb, Grasmere
Helm Crag, or the lion and lamb, as it’s known locally, is a fantastic family walk near Grasmere. It is classed as a Wainwright Fell, which means it’s over 1000 feet. It’s actually 1328 feet to be exact!

Elterwater to Skelwith Bridge, Little Langdale
Elterwater to Skelwith Bride, or vice versa, or even there and back, is a beautiful and easy walk, that is suitable for pushchairs too. It’s approx 1.5 miles each way, with plenty of adventure along the way.

Colwith Force, Little Langdale
Colwith Force, Little Langdale is a beautiful, short easy walk to some amazing cascades and waterfall. Especially after heavy rainfall. The walk is less than 0.5 miles in total, there and back, and could easily be incoporated into other walks
